Green washing in India an alarming issue: misleading and deceptive environmental claims in advertising

Abstract: Environment protection has becoming a popular topic since from last couple of decade. Green marketing is the marketing of products that are presumed to be environmentally safe, whereas green washing is the act of misleading consumers regarding the environmental practices of a company or the environmental benefits of a product or service. This research paper exclusively focus on alarming emergence of green washing, forms of green washing, reasons of growing green washing & signs and sins of green washing which may be helpful for our consumers to know about the green wash products. Hopefully this paper will be helpful for awakening our consumers and raising voices against evils of green washing.
