A study on employee stress management with special reference to manufacturing companies in Coimbatore

Abstract
Stress is a dynamic condition, which an individual is confronted with an opportunity, constraint or demand related to what he or she desires and for which the outcome is perceived to be both uncertain and important. Stress is associated with constraints and demands. The former prevents you from doing what you desire, the latter refers to the loss of something desired. Stress has become significant due to dynamic social factor and the changing needs of lifestyle. Stress can make a person productive and constructive, when it is identified and well managed. The focus of this study is on the stress level of employees in Manufacturing Company. Study also identifies the copying strategies followed by the company. Study cover 120 employees from the lower level from work associate department, learners department and area leaders department.
