A study on useage of online payment system for small buyers in Coimbatore city

Abstract
This study investigates the usage patterns and adoption factors of online payment systems among casual buyers in Coimbatore, India. With the rapid growth of e-commerce, understanding consumer behavior towards online payment systems is crucial for businesses and policymakers. The research employs a mixed-method approach, including surveys and interviews, to collect data from a sample of casual buyers in Coimbatore. The findings reveal key factors influencing the adoption of online payment systems, such as security concerns, ease of use, trust in the platform, and awareness of available options. Additionally, demographic characteristics and past online shopping experiences play significant roles in shaping consumers' attitudes towards online payment systems. The study concludes with implications for businesses aiming to enhance the adoption of online payment systems among casual buyers in Coimbatore, thereby fostering the growth of e-commerce in the region.
